 CMM Optic Celebrates 30 Years

In 1989, CMM Optic opened as a machine shop under the name of Contour Metrological & Manufacturing. The Troy, Michigan business provided precision metal parts and metrology services. Over the next thirty years, it evolved into a leader in the global optics industry, fabricating diamond-turned mirrors and lenses, precision metal components, and opto-mechanical assemblies.

In 2013, Kevin McMahon purchased the company and has spent the past 6+ years upgrading every area of the business. 

The company is justifiably proud of its reputation in the global optics industry and of its employees who have made CMM Optic what it is today.
